“Absolutely fantastic” is the phrase that comes to mind when I think about Leslee Williams. I was a part of the decision to hire Leslee & she has been directly supporting & reporting to me as the lead Legal Assistant to the Business Unit Counsel for the last twelve months. From day one, Leslee expertly filled the role, navigated the different personalities & reporting lines, & did an outstanding job solidifying her position in a large and diverse team. I always appreciated Leslee’s great attention to detail, even under periods of great stress & while being tasked by multiple lawyers. Even more impressive is the fact that Leslee is self-motivated & a self-starter, & rather than rest on her laurels during slower periods, she was always tinkering and thinking of ways to improve our processes & by extension, the team’s efficiency. In addition to providing day-to-day support and managing the department, Leslee also exhibited great leadership by working closely with the other legal assistants on the team who were based in remote locations across the Business Unit. Her persistence, professionalism & maturity ensured that all material & reports were always up-to-date, & I had the necessary information when I needed it.

Leslee was my right arm at my firm. She is everything that a PA should be & more: She is organized, cheerful, enthusiastic, great on the phone with clients, discreet, loyal. She particularly impresses because she is self-motivated. The bottom line is that her positiveness radiates & contributes to the enhancement of the work environment.

Leslee was my PA in about 1997-9 in Dubai. Clearly we were only teenagers at the time!! Les was great. She was hard working, diligent & above all extremely lively & enthusiastic, with a big smile & an even bigger personality. We were an office of about 20 people in those days & it was important for us all to get along & muck in. She did both, superbly. It was a long time ago, but I still miss her.

When I first met Leslee she was a patient at Nevada Community Enrichment Program (NCEP) along with me. What first attracted me to Leslee, was her sense of humor (she was always laughing), her honesty, & her down to earth nature. Leslee had suffered a brain injury that was significant & she had little support from her family. I was so impressed with her tenacity & compassion for others. So kind to the other patients & she was a true cheerleader to everyone that was at the facility. Leslee is also a very intelligent person & she does a lot of investigating to get at the truth. It has been my honor to know her & consider her a friend of mine.

I met Leslee when I was a Lyft driver & gave her a ride home. We began a conversation & it was evident she was a very open & honest person. At the time, I was a Kangen water distributor & when she told me about her brain injury, I turned her onto the water. Through our various meetings, I learned she had a strong passion to help others get through their brain injuries, the way she overcame her own. I believe, if there is anyone capable of helping people in this regard, it is Leslee.

I was lucky enough to meet Leslee in Las Vegas at the same rehab facility, while we were working on recovering from our brain injuries, & subsequent head surgeries. Not only did we bond quickly over the process, but found that we had actually had the same neurosurgeon; bringing us closer still. Leslee has been an immeasurable support since our meeting & such a value to my life in every way.

Curriculum Vitae

My mind shift from The Hoffman Process, helped me get through this experience.

A Vision For You

40th b-day present to me, in Vegas. The world = humanity, culture, beliefs, nationalities. Camel = The Camel Prayer. The moon = my love of night time. Happy Destiny = A.A.’s “A Vision For You”

Camel Prayer

Tramp stamp. Part of the convention logo “Courage To Change”, by local Balinese tattoo artist, who also attended. I went swimming right after & miffed it. 🤣

Because I love this song & it was time for a cool change…

“Personal Stories” - BIAA

American Heart/Stroke Association Volunteer - Raya the journalist for Fox, was ace at editing. What I wanted to convey, was so choppy. 😂

Found this. I like it.

As a little girl, I learned to swim before walking. I also avoided any clothing but chonies. 😂

Humans that rain on my parade are annoying!

I’ve always been a rebel rebel & I adore Bowie…

I absolutely cherished this film soundtrack. I would listen to it as a child & sing every word to every song. I still do today, only now I feel joyous & get melancholy.

My gut tells me somebody (whatever human form male or female) will cross my path & trudge the Road of Happy Destiny, just like AA's “A Vision for You” says. If not, that's magical too.

I want somebody to share
Share the rest of my life
Share my innermost thoughts
Know my intimate details

Someone who'll stand by my side
And give me support
And in return
He'll get my support

He will listen to me
When I want to speak
About the world we live in
And life in general

Though my views may be wrong
They may even be perverted
He'll hear me out
And won't easily be converted

To my way of thinking
In fact, he'll often disagree
But at the end of it all
He will understand me, ah-ah

I want somebody who cares
For me passionately
With every thought
And with every breath

Someone who'll help me see things
In a different light
All the things I detest
I will almost like

I don't want to be tied
To anyone's strings
I'm carefully trying to stay clear
Of those things

But when I'm asleep
I want somebody
Who will put their arms around me
And kiss me tenderly

Though things like this
Make me sick
In a case like this
I'll get away with it, ah-ah
